Situated in a beautiful Highlands village in the heart of Scotland ideally situated for Loch Ness , the Cairngorns and Isle of Skye.
This is really a special place with our site situated next to the river Blackwater and some of the Munro mountains almost on the doorstep, with great fishing , hiking and mountain biking in close proximity . Everyone is drawn to the river here , not only to watch our local Heron who loves to fish on our stretch of the river but also to enjoy paddling and even swimming . In the sky you will almost inevitably see the majestic Red Kites soaring above you with their distinctive markings . You can also enjoy fishing from the campsite , please ensure you catch and release . There is good mountain bike trails starting just over the road from the campsite.
Our self catering lodges and campsite is in the highland village of Contin , and about 18 miles from Inverness and Loch Ness . There are regular buses to the village from Inverness and with a bus stop just outside the site for those of you that do not have a car or want to leave their car on-site
We have a variety of accommodation options for your perfect Scottish Highlands holiday with our 4 spacious Holiday self catering Chalet bungalows , caravan and Camping site . We can also offer Lundavra a larger property within walking distance of Loch Ness and Glenurquhart Castle , a true Loch Ness self catering experience . And we also have the Riverside Yurt sleeping up to 6 people.
The Riverside
The holiday park is adjacent to the local grocery shop and post office. The village also has a garage and the Coul house hotel which offer excellent lounge bar and restaurant facilities. More restaurants are available in Strathpeffer
In addition to that our on-site Holistic therapist can also offer a range of treatments ,such as reflexoloy, Holistic massage , Reiki, Karuna and metamorphic technique to name but a few.
